My Tower Garden Adventure

When I decided to start this blog I knew I would want to share my experiences learning new things. Hence the title "Rebeka Does It". And I am really excited about this upcoming adventure. I have shared with you all before that I am a Juice Plus distributor. I have been for a while now and it's a huge passion of mine. I LOVE getting to share the blessing of JP+ with people on a daily basis. I had the privilege of experiencing a JP+ conference in October last year. The entire conference was fabulous. The culture of Juice Plus is so positive and uplifting. It is life altering. While there I remember walking into a conference room and seeing the most magical contraptions. I had heard about them before and even seen one in person at a friends house. But seeing so many of them and full of the most mouth watering produce...I was in awe.

Yes, you read that right. I was in awe of produce!! But let's be clear this wasn't just any old--prematurely picked and artificially ripened. This stuff was bright, beaming, vine ripened and quite intoxicating.

The Tower Garden is a Juice Plus product. Though I never really paid attention to it before. I was good eating and sharing all about the other JP goodies, but I never really understood the entire "tower garden" concept. That was of course, before. Before I saw these magical contraptions in person. If you have never heard of the Tower Garden, you must go HERE. Tons of info and videos that brake it all down for ya.

I do NOT have a green thumb. Really. I killed my Christmas poinsettias. You never have to water those things and I still murdered them. May they rest in peace.

We have done gardens in the past out here in the country and even in our backyard when we lived in town. But my sweet husband is the one headed those projects up. He left for a couple of weeks one summer and guess what happened. Yeah...it wasn't pretty. I tried to weed. I tried to remember to water. Okay...maybe I didn't try very hard per say...but effort was given. Shhhh don't tell Greg.

So, here I was face to face with the tower gardens. And I thought "I could totally do that!" Then came the process of convincing my dear sweet hottie of a husband. Actually, he wasn't that difficult to convince. He thought they were pretty darn cool. So the decision was made. After the new year we would take a leap and by ourselves a Tower Garden!

Today the UPS man made me a very happy lady. He brought me this pretty large box. We were so excited we could hardly wait to put it together. Greg immediately ripped into that baby like a kid on Christmas morning. He put it together minus the tower tonic and plants. It took him a total of about 20 minutes. And he said honestly, it wouldn't have taken that long if he had just followed the directions the first time. Sound familiar, ladies? Tehehehehehehe

Now, I just need to decide what to plant. There are so MANY options. You can grow almost anything on this thing. Oh, and I need the sun. So if you see it, can you send it this way? For some reason Texas is confused and thinks she is one of the Dakotas. Really Texas! Wha???????

Here we go my friends! Off on another adventure.

Happy Growing!!!
